Meet Dr. Jim Gray MD
Jim Gray MD of Meridian, Mississippi, is a skilled radiologist with over a decade of experience providing imaging to patients and their treating physicians to assist in the prevention, early detection, and treatment of disease.
Dr. Gray has a particular interest in early detection of disease via radiology and applies his skills and talents when interpreting MRIs, PET scans and CT scans to provide physicians with the most effective information which serves as the first line of defense against disease.
Working as part of a small, physician-owned imaging center, Jim Gray MD is best positioned to offer a full slate of services to local hospitals and physicians.
Jim Gray MD completed his residency in diagnostic radiology with the University of Mississippi Medical Centre in 2010, which is renowned for its nationally recognized education system and state of the art healthcare facilities.
Dr. Jim Gray also maintains a passion to share his knowledge and expertise with others, and he writes extensively on current topics affecting the field of radiology. He does so in the hopes that he will help patients feel more prepared for and comfortable during radiological testing.
Musculoskeletal imaging, according to Jim Gray MD, can be used to diagnose or evaluate a number of conditions, such as degenerative joint disorders, as well as identify the cause of pain in bones and muscle tissues and much more. Dr. Jim Gray also uses diagnostic images to diagnose the source of a patient’s complaint, monitor how well a patient’s body is responding to treatment, and screen new patients for diseases such as breast cancer, colon cancer and heart disease.
Above all else, Jim Gray MD feels most accomplished when he is able to assist treating physicians in developing the first line of defense against diseases through radiology. During the years he has practiced medicine, Dr. Jim Gray has seen a revolution in the technology behind diagnostic imaging and has very high hopes that it will continue to play an important role in eliminating or lessening the effects of particular diseases in patients. This drives him to continue to work tirelessly to provide only the most effective imaging possible to physicians and their patients.
Jim Gray MD is a proud father to three children. He and his family are avid travelers. In his free time, they are actively involved in the Catholic school system, and volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.
